It's been close to a good three years. Mercifully, Slumdog stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, are not into denying that they are a lovesome twosome. And have passed the stage of tom-tomming to the scribe-tribe that they are merely "good friends." The duo, however, has categorically denied that they are a "live-in couple." Moreover, Ms. Pinto has categorically slammed tattle about their engagement. A close insider states, "Both Dev and Freida are quite young to think about anything else apart from their careers. Though they have always come forth on the fact that they are serious about each other."
Admittedly, both are the "toughest critics" of each other and do share their joys and sorrows, as fellow companions on the path of life. Freida also asserts that Dev works as the best "mood elevator" for her. "Dev knows exactly how to brighten my mood when I'm down and out," she is quoted to have said.
