Come December 2, 2011 and Vidya Balan will showcase herself in a feisty-n- raunchy portrayal in The Dirty Picture. Her 'Silk' act is one eagerly-awaited flick that has the classes and masses drooling away already.
Although the Milan–Luthria helmed effort has been termed 'The Dirty Picture', Vidya Balan asserts that there's nothing remotely "dirty" about it.
"Audiences will get to see me in a kind of role that I've never played before," says Vidya. "But I would not say that I've become dirty in any way after this film. I would also like to make it clear that there is no dirtiness or sleaze in 'The Dirty Picture.' And anyone calling me dirty after this picture… ought to realise that the dirtiness is actually just in the mind."
Sharing frames with Naseeruddin Shah for the second time, has Vidya revealing that she's "less scared" of her National-Award winning co-actor.
"The ease with which Naseeruddin Shah approaches his work is awe-inspiring," gushes Vidya. "My comfort level with him has increased after two films, surely. And although one is constantly learning working with a legend like him, it's difficult to put it into words. Just working with him is an honour in itself."
