After playing the role of a Punjabi boy who becomes a dashing Air Force pilot in Mausam directed by father Pankaj Kapur, Shahid Kapoor seems to be wanting another shot at the 'timeless' love story genre.
At a recent event, when quizzed by the media about his forthcoming movie Teri Meri Kahani opposite Priyanka Chopra, Kapoor said, "It is a love story and the plot is set in three different time zones because of which my character and Priyanka's character will have three different looks throughout the movie. Apart from this, I think it would be too early to reveal anything else." Mausam too was set in different time zones and Shahid's look was changed from the simple rural lad to that of a dashing pilot.
Kapoor and Chopra will share screen space for the second time after Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey and Kapoor claims to be looking forward to working with the desi girl again. "I had very few scenes with Priyanka Chopra in Kaminey so this time; I am really looking forward to be playing a role opposite her as she is a very talented actress," Kapoor said.
Directed by Kunal Kohli, Teri Meri Kahani is a love story in which Chopra will play an actress of the 1960-70s in one segment
