    Khiladi 786 Review- In Short
A marriage fixer lies about the family of the groom and the bride in order to facilitate the wedding, with hilarious consequences...

    Khiladi 786 Review-Verdict
Whacky humour, foot-tapping music and the inimitable Akshay Kumar...what more would an Akki fan need?

    Khiladi 786 Review-Story Plot
Mansukh (Himesh Reshammiya) is the son of a veteran marriage fixer, who wants to step out of his father's shadow to achieve success on his own. When Mansukh is hired by dreaded don Tatya Tendulkar (Mithun Chakraborty) for finding a suitable boy for his sister Indu (Asin), Mansukh decides to get her married off to Bahattar Singh (Akshay Kumar), a Punjabi do-gooder, who impersonates as a police-man to help the real police by nabbing the bad guys.

However, there is a slight hitch: Mansukh thinks Bahattar is a real cop and convinces Tatya to lie about being a cop, so that his underworld reputation does not ruin the marriage plans. On the other hand, Indu is in love with someone else and is trying her best to get rid of Bahattar, who has fallen for her. What follows is a comedy of errors as both sides struggle to keep up the facade of respectability.

    Khiladi 786 Review-Performances
As usual, Akshay Kumar, who can juggle action and comedy with equal ease,  is a delight to watch. His easy charm, his smart-alec humour and his screen presence ensures maximum entertainment. If that was not enough, there is veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who will make you laugh till your sides hurt. His deadpan humour and dialogue delivery will remind you once again why the actor is one of the talented performers in Bollywood. Surprisingly, Himesh Reshammiya, who has also written the story, also displays a great comic timing and as the typically Gujarati Mansukh, Himesh is funny as hell. Other actors like Mukesh Rishi, Raj Babbar, Johnny Lever and the others too perform their parts well. Asin is passable though, though to be fair to her, the film is a Akki product all the way and there is nothing much she could have done really...

    Khiladi 786 Review-Direction
Like mentioned earlier, the film has the kind of whacky humour, that might not be appreciated by all. One can safely say that the humour is so silly that it would make you laugh helplessly. However, Ashish R Mohan does come up with an extremely entertaining watch. There are times when the film would remind you of other Akki films like Welcome (specially the part about an underworld don wanting a 'honest'man from a respectable family for his sister). Though the director should have edited certain emotional scenes that seem out of place in this fun flick, Khiladi 786 shall be known as one of the films, that can be watched again with a bunch of pals, just for the sake of a few laughs.

    Khiladi 786 Review-Music
With foot-tapping numbers like Balma and Hookah Bar, which have already become popular hits at clubs, it can be said that the movie has decent enough music.

    Khiladi 786 Review-Final Word
If you are the kind of person, who enjoyed films like Golmaal 3, Welcome, Housefull 2 and the likes, then Khiladi 786 is a must watch!

'Khiladi 786' Public Review

Movie-goers mostly seemed to enjoy Akshay Kumar's masala flick 'Khiladi 786'. Though a couple of detractors made it clear that they did not find the movie too spectacular, they did admit that Akshay and Mithun Chakraborty were quite impressive in their comic roles.
