Tezaab SYNOPSIS
Tezaab launched two artistes in the big league. Madhuri Dixit and Saroj Khan. The number 'Ek do teen' with Madhuri's pelvic thrusts and gyrations became a rage. The dance style in the song became a permanent feature in almost all of Madhuri's later films. Tezaab was a violent love story in which Anil Kapoor is a good man, but turns to unlawful doings due to circumstances. Madhuri is the victim of an insensitive, abusive father. Her mother, unable to bear her father's abuse, has committed suicide. The story is run-of-the-mill. It is the treatment and presentation that set the film apart.
