No one can justify the word 'Bootylicious' more than Malaika Arora Khan. Well the lady in question not just oozes style and oomph together but does it with great élan and pride too. Mother of one and wife to a well known actor, Malaika for sure still knows how to make the men do 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'. Malaika Arora was born on 23rd August 1973 in Mumbai, India. Her father Anil Arora is a Punjabi who was in the merchant navy, while her mother Joyce Polycarp is a Malayali. Malaika has a younger sister, Amrita Arora. She is married to the Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan whom she met during a coffee ad shoot. Together they have a son, Arhaan. Her brothers in law are actors, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. She completed her tenth grade from Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur (Mumbai). Her Aunt Grace Polycarp was the principal of the school. She is also an alumna of the Holy Cross High School Thane where she had studied until ninth grade. She lived in Borla Society, opposite Basant Talkies before her modeling career. She always wanted to be a model since her childhood days and loved being in front of the camera. She is a big hit on the small screen. She entered the Glamour world at the age of 17 when some of her photographs shot by photographer 'Suresh Natarajan' fortuitously fell into the hands of 'Suma Varghese', the editor of Society magazine at that point in time. The first cover back of Society in April '93 set the ball rolling for Malaika. The somewhat notorious 'MR coffee campaign' attracted a lot more attention than Malaika had bargained for. The main bonus of course was in being teamed with model actor Arbaaz Khan whom she is now married with and has a baby boy born on 9th November 2002. Malaika's best ad campaigns includes 'Pearl Pet', 'Bare Necessities', 'Mafatlal', 'Benzer', 'Tanishq', 'Tribhuvandhas Bhimji' and 'De Beers'. Meanwhile, the tube beckoned and she came on the "MTV hostess" stage, to present 'Club MTV' and 'Loveline'. While a big hit on the small screen came with her presence in the music video 'Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha'. Though she hasn't done any full fledged roles in Bollywood, she has appeared in many Bollywood movies in item numbers like 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' in 'Dil Se' (1998), 'Mahi Ve' in 'Kaante' (2002). In 2005, she did another item number, 'Kaal Dhamaal' in the movie 'Kaal' and also did an item number in Mahesh Babu's Telugu film. In 2007, she did a title song in 'Heyy Babyy' directed by Sajid Khan and another popular song for 'Om Shanti Om' directed by Farah Khan. She was most recently seen in 'Welcome' (2007) again in an item number and also in the movie 'EMI' in 2008. Sleek, stylish and sexy, Malaika Arora Khan put her stamp on MTV, item numbers and Arbaaz Khan. She also plans to open a restaurant. Malaika was back on the small screen as a judge on the show 'Nach Baliye' and 'Zara Nachke Dikha'.
