Padmini Kolhapure is another one of those actresses who were as successful doing child roles as grown up roles. She falls into the category of those child artists who made it big as matured actresses. Her entry into the films dates back to the days when she was discovered by none other than Dev Anand. She did films like 'Ishq Ishq Ishq' (1974) with Dev Anand, 'Saajan Bina Suhagan' with Rajendra Kumar and 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' with Shashi Kapoor. She was introduced in the film 'Thodi Si Bewafai' with Rajesh Khanna and Shabaza Azmi as a grown up actress. From then on she worked in many more films and became one of the leading ladies of the industry. Some of her other good films include 'Zamane Ko Dikhana Hain', 'Prem Rog', 'Vidhata', 'Souten', 'Who Saat Din', 'Pyar Jhukta Nahin', 'Pyar Kiya Hain Pyar Karenge' and 'Souten Ki Beti'. Her co-stars in these films were Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Rajesh Khanna, Anil Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. Married to a film director, she leads a blissful life now.
