Raju Khan PROFILE

Choreography has literally always been in Raju Khan's blood; after all he is the son of acclaimed choreographer Saroj Khan. After assisting his mother on several films, Raju Khan started his career as an independent choreographer with Mukesh Bhatt's Aashiqui, and then went onto choreograph memorable numbers in films such as Sadak, Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke, Baazigar, Raja Hindustani, Koyla, Major Saab and Pukar just to name a few. His association with Ashutosh Gowariker began when he choreographed for the Oscar nominated Lagaan which fetched Raju a National Award, and also built a long lasting association with Gowariker as Khan went on to choreograph for Swades, Jodhaa Akbar and then for What's Your Raashee? as well.
